The Britax Frontier is a combination youth car seat that combines the safety of a 5 point harness car seat for children over 2 years old and 25 lbs up to 80 lbs and 53" and a belt positioning booster for children up to 100 lbs and 60" . As the newest Britax youth car seat, it features the latest technology to make it the safest youth car seat available. The Harness-2-Booster� combination means that there will be no need to buy a booster seat when your child outgrows the 5 point harness.

The Britax Frontier Car Seat has the following unique features:

And, the Britax Frontier also has the following features typical of most Britax car seats: patented Versa-Tether, flexible LATCH System, comfort and EPS foam, patented HUGS system, belt holders for boarding, removable, washable cover, belly pad, comfort pad, front harness adjuster strap.

Britax Frontier vs Britax Regent: Both seats are 5 point harness seats. The Britax Frontier has the added benefit of becoming a booster seat. The Frontier also has the unique features listed above that the Regent does not. The Regent can accommodate a slightly taller seated shoulder height up to 20" versus 18.25" for the Frontier in the 5 point harness configuration. These are large seats - the Frontier is 26.5" deep x 19" wide x 22" high versus 24.5" deep x 20" wide x 30" high for the Regent.
