The Britax Marathon Convertible Car Seat is rear facing for infants up to 33 lbs and forward facing for toddlers up to 65 lbs and 49". A convertible car seat allows you to keep your child rear facing (the safest position) as long as possible and then forward facing as your child grows, both in a 5 point harness. Britax Marathon vs Britax Boulevard: Both best selling convertible car seats, these seats are similar with both having all of the typical Britax features and a stabilizing latch bar, but the Boulevard also has True Side Impact Protection, easy no re-thread harness adjust, and an infant body pillow.
