I bought this for my much better half after she'd had yet another one of those cheap umbrellas fail and finally she has a REAL one. It opens and closes with authority and the construction and workmanship is top notch. When you consider how many of those low quality ones that will break and end up in the trash, this really is worth the money. I may get one for myself after Christmas. I highly recommend it.

Great material quality.
Yes, this umbrella is expensive, but it is well worth the money. The material is very strong and I don't think this will ever break or flip.

The frame is so stiff and solid and also the fabric is great.

I am using this item!
Davek is great quality, so this umbrella is well worth the price. Also, whatshebuys has the best price on this umbrella as well. Shipping was super fast and overall everything was excellent.

Well, it hasn't rained since I've purchased the umbrella, but it sure LOOKS nice. What's not to like?

Wonderful Umbrella Unisex.
The only downside is it pricey, but you do get what you pay for.
If you are sick and tired of flimsy, non-functional umbrellas, the Davek will end your suffering. With a sturdy build, classic deign, and so far, flawless function (I cannot yet attest to it long-term durability), the Davek Solo is a joy to use. The size is a good balance between portability and coverage to protect you from the rain, but with the smaller area it won't keep you a dry as a larger golf umbrella. The only negative I can see is the $100 price tag - this is the reason I didn't give the Davek Solo a five star rating.
