The original Footless was the first SPANX product. In fact, footless and SPANX became synonymous during Spanxs first year because it was the only product Spanx offered. Since the founder had to wear pantyhose everyday for work, she knew that control top pantyhose made her backside look better, but she didn't want to wear them with open toed shoes. She cut the feet out and had her 'ah-ha" moment. After months of the original footless (medium control) being on the market, Spanxs had many requests for one with more tummy control. Adjusting: These pantyhose are able to be adjusted to wherever you'd like them to fall. These particular pantyhose are not recommended for wearing above the knee. They should reach almost to the ankles depending on the size of the garment and your height.
